Introduction

Hey guys and welcome to Epic Slow Burn.

This is one of those courses that I have been asked to create over and over again. This sub genre of hybrid trailer music is often the reason hat people get into writing epic music in the first place. It is full of emotion, scale, and sounds AWESOME.

Writing an Epic Slow Burn track from scratch

In this selection of videos I walk you through my whole process of writing and producing an epic slow burn cue.

The thing I want to highlight is that at one point I thought out loud, "Erm, I don't like this track and think it sucks!"

The important part os that I did not stop and chuck the cue, I took a break. That voice in your (and my) head is often born out of tiredness (and other stuff too but don't want to dive into that here)

By taking a break I was able to come back to the track fresh and complete it.
